Their solar Sound Blue-tooth speakers are created with the idea of being a portable extension for any device equipped with Blue-tooth wireless connections. As well as blue-tooth the speakers can be connected by a standard 3.5mm audio jack and with a full charge on its inbuilt battery will allow for between 4 and 8 hours of sound depending on how high you pump up the volume.
Powered by photovoltaic solar cells on its surface it also has the option of being charged by a USB or mains connection. The stereo speakers are rated a 2w and may a bit low for most parties, but for that quite beach it should be enough to give a bit of background music for you and your friends.
While it might not replace your current boom box, with the popularity of music being stored on mobile phones and mp3 players, a set of portable solar powered speakers is at least one of the more practical solar devices.
